NORFOLK - Mrs. Bernice Taylor Bowe of 2326 Corprew Ave. died Thursday in her 
home.

A native of Ahoskie, N.C., she was the wife of Curtis Bowe. She was a member of 
Piney Wood Chapel.

Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Joseph S. Bowe of Silver Spring, 
Md. a sister, Mrs. Katie Ballance of Norfolk; three brothers, Earl Wynn of 
Norfolk, and Vernon Taylor, and Edgar Taylor, both of Ahoskie; and seven 
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the 
Rev. Sidney Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
