Virginian Pilot April 27, 1994

Sheila Diane Bowen, of the 2900 block of Kimball Terrace, died April 25, 1994, 
in Hampton Veterans Hospital.
Mrs. Bowen was born in Norfolk and was a school bus driver for the city of 
Norfolk. She attended Garrett's Community Baptist Church in Norfolk and was an 
Army veteran.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Reeves and Sheena Woodson, both of 
Norfolk; a son, Miguel Turner of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; her father, Samuel Riddick 
Jr. of Norfolk; five sisters, Patricia Jones of Newport News and Valerie 
Arnette, Cathy Porter, Sandra Arnette and Lisa Arnette, all of Norfolk; five 
brothers, Herman Babb of Queens, N.Y., Randy Babb of Norfolk and George Arnette 
Jr., Andre Arnette and Dwayne Arnette, all of Chesapeake; and a stepfather, 
George Arnette Sr. of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. Church, 1615 
Isaac St., Norfolk, by Dr. Wilbert Daniels Sr. Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday at 3 p.m. The family 
will assemble at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, at 11 a.m. for 
the processional.
