NORFOLK - Mrs. Annie Eliza Bowen of 956 Gordon Ave. died Wednesday in her home 
after a short illness.

She was born in Edenton, N.C., and lived in Norfolk 45 years, during which time 
she was employed as a maid at Norfolk General Hospital.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Stella Ricks of Brooklyn.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in 
Second Calvary Baptist church Saturday at noon by the Rev. H.W.B. Walker, 
pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
