Virginian-Pilot  March 20, 1924
Mrs. Catherine Bowen, aged 37, wife of Edward Bowen, died yesterday morning at 
3:45 o’clock at a local hospital. She had been a resident of Norfolk for eleven 
months. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, John T. Bowen; a brother, 
Patrick Moriarty, and a sister, Mrs. Bridget O’Connor. Funeral services will be 
conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church this morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be 
in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
