Norfolk Landmark January 15, 1904
Miss Lillian B. Bowers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Bowers, died yesterday 
morning at the home of her parents, in Myers avenue. Miss Bowers had been in 
lingering health for the past six months. She had been very ill for the past 
several weeks and had suffered a great deal. The deceased is survived by her 
mother and father and one sister, Miss Nora Lee Bowers. The funeral will take 
place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the family residence. The services will be 
conducted by the Rev. George W. Cox. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
