Virginian-Pilot September 3, 1926
BOYCE – At a local hospital, Wednesday morning, September 1st, 1926, at 11:30 
o’clock, Mrs. RACHEL BOYCE, of Ryland, N.C., widow of William Boyce, aged 80 
years, 6 months and 6 days.
Body will be taken from the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover 
avenue, to the residence of her son, W. P. Boyce, 238 West Thirtieth street, for 
funeral services THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON, September 3, at 2 o’clock. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
