Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Elliott Boyce of 1211 Ballentine boulevard, cafeteria 
employee at Blair Junior High School, died Monday in a hospital.

A native of South Hill, NC, she was the widow of Johnny Boyce and a daughter of 
the late Jerry and Mrs. Gertrude Eliott.

She was a member of Usher Board 2 of Garrett’s Interdenominational Church.

Surviving are a son, John L. Boyce, and a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Henley, both of 
Norfolk;  two brothers, James Elliott of Baltimore and Ben Elliott of Norfolk;  
and three sisters, Miss Martha Elliott and Mrs. Nellie E. Barnett of Norfolk, 
and Mrs. Pammer Turner of Chesapeake.

A funeral service was held in Garrett’s Interdenominational Church with burial 
in Calvary Cemetery.  Graves Funeral Home was in charge.
