Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Jun 8, 1963
Norfolk - Funeral services will be conducted June 7, 3 p.m., at Calvary Church
of God in Christ for Mrs. Dorothy Boyce, 33, who died June 2 in a hospital after
a short illness.  The Rev. Charlie Newby will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt.
Olive Cemetery, with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.


Mrs. Boyce, of 900 Hatton street, was a native of Norfolk, the daughter of Clyde
and Mrs. Nellie Scott Jones.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Thermon Boyce;  four sons,
Clifton, Charlie, Clyde and Robert Boyce;  three daughters, Diane, Darlene and
Dorene Boyce;  three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Owens,  Mrs. Geneva Skinner and
Miss Isabelle Jones, all of Norfolk;  and four brothers, Clyde Jones Jr. of
Baltimore, Arthur Jones of New York, Elijah Jones and Calvin Jones of Norfolk.
