NORFOLK — Edward Cornelius Boyce Sr., 66, of 162 A View Ave., died in a hospital 
Thursday.

He was a native of New York State and lived in Norfolk 32 years.

He was the husband of Mrs. Irene DeGrandpre Boyce and a son of Edward Cornelius 
and Mrs. Mary Palmer Boyce.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He was retired from the Public Works Center at the Naval Base.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Edward C. Boyce Jr. of Virginia 
Beach, William G. Boyce of Manchester, N.H., Ronald L. Boyce of Norfolk, and 
Robert A. Boyce of Culver City, Col.; and 18 grandchildren.

The Office of the Dead will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday 
at 7 p.m.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family will be at 1976 E. Ocean View Ave.
