VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Irene H. Boyce, 71, of 5737 Pontiac Road, the widow of 
Edward C. Boyce, died Sunday in a hospital.

She was a native of Manchester, N.H., and a member of St. Gregory the Great 
Catholic Church and Aragona Women Moose Lodge Chapter 684. She was retired from 
Norfolk Naval Air Station.

Survivors include four sons, Edward C. Boyce Jr. and Ronald I. Boyce of Virginia 
Beach, William G. Boyce of Manchester, and Robert A. Boyce of California; two 
brothers, George DeGrandpre and William DeGrandpre of Manchester; and 19 
grandchildren.

A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Gregory the Great 
Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a m.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be 
held tonight at 7 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. The family will be at 5740 N. 
Ottawa Road, Virginia Beach.
