NORFOLK - Mrs. Geraldine Boyd, 38, of 977 Marietta Ave. died Thursday in a 
Newport News hospital after a brief illness.

She was a daughter of Mrs. Frances Lewis and the late Charlie Lewis and the 
widow of John Boyd. She was born in Norfolk.

Besides her mother, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Poole of Alaska and 
Mrs. Corine Tiller of Brooklyn, and one brother, Johnnie Boyd of South Norfolk.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 
in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Sunday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. F.P. Wise, pastor. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be taken to her home this 
afternoon.
