The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday April 3, 1953
Leroy Stafford Boyd, 54, son of Mrs. Elise Nicholas Boyd and the late Charles 
R. Boyd, died yesterday at 1 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Boyd was a native of Wytheville, and had been a resident of Norfolk for a 
number of years, residing at 115 East 41st Street at the time of his death. He 
was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook. He is survived 
only by his mother, Mrs. Elise Nicholas Boyd, of Norfolk.

Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 2 
p.m. by the Rt. Rev. George P. Gunn, D.D., Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of 
Southern Virginia. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.



FUNERAL

Funeral services for Mr. Boyd, who died Thursday, will be conducted at the H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 p.m. by the Very Rev. George P. Gunn, 
D.D., Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. Burial will be in 
Forest Lawn Cemetery.
