Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, August 24, 1992 
Lawrence F. Boykins, of the 700 block of Lincoln St., a retired parking
attendant, died Aug. 22, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Boykins was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Wards Corner Parking Lot
after 35 years. He was a member of St. John's A.M.E. Church. He was also a
member of Sons of Norfolk and Brothers of Norfolk Social & Beneficial Association.

Survivors include a sister, Mary A. Boykins of New York; and a brother, Jude
Boykins Jr. of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's A.M.E. Church
by the Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in
the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may join the family at the residence.
