Virginian-Pilot  April 25, 1958
NORFOLK — Michael Boylan, 67, husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Payne Boylan and son of 
the late John and Mrs. Mary Boylan, died Thursday at 1:45 p.m., at a Norfolk 
hospital.

He was a native of Scotland and a resident of Norfolk for the past 38 years, 
residing at 3316 Vimy Ridge Ave. at the time of his death. He was a member of 
Christ the King Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, John E. Boylan, of Fort Monroe, and 
three grandchildren.

The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for services Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartment tonight at 
7:30 o’clock.
