Norfolk Virginian Sunday June 5, 1892
                             Drowned in a Well
Mr. W.A. Bradbrook, a prosperous farmer living on Little Creek in the vicinity 
of the water works, fell into his well while drawing a bucket of water yesterday 
morning and was drowned.  He was seventy-one years of age, a member of the 
Norfolk Horticultural and Pomological Society, and a man of prominence in his 
community.  He leaves four children, among them Mrs. J.L. Babcock, of this city.  
The body was found by his son a very few minutes after he fell in the well.  The 
funeral will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon in Elmwood Cemetery.

Rev. T.A. Hall, of Central Avenue Baptist Church, Atlantic City, conducted the 
funeral services of Mr. W.A. Bradbrook, whose untimely death was announced in 
The Virginian, at Elmwood Cemetery Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
