Mrs. Ella Bradford, 72, of 1510 West 42nd street, died at 9:45 p.m. July 1 at
the residence following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m.
July 8 at Hale’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. H. B. Walker, pastor of Second
Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, officiating.

A native of Petersburg, Mrs. Bradford was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Mrs. Racheal Harris Willis. A niece, Mrs. Mary W. Kirby of New York City,
survives. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
