VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Thelma Miller Braithwaite, 85, of 520 Oceana Blvd., died 
Thursday at 6 p.m. in a convalescent home.
She was a native of Petersburg and the widow of Robert H. Braithwaite. She lived 
here since 1916.
She was a retired registered nurse, and a graduate of the former St. Vincent de 
Paul School of Nursing in Norfolk. She was a member of the Eastern Shore 
Episcopal Chapel.
Survivors include a son, Robert H. Braithwaite of Virginia Beach; a daughter, 
Mrs. Anne B. Jensen of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four grandchildren; and three nieces.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the 
Rev. Charles M. Riddle III. Maestas Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
