Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 7,1942
The funeral of Frank Branch, 45, of 2334 Barraud avenue, who died in a local 
hospital, November 1, was held at Hale's Chapel, with the Rev. R. K. D. 
Garrett officiating. Born in Ivor, VA, he had lived here 25 years. His widow, 
Mrs. Mattie Branch, several children, and other relatives survive. He was a 
veteran of World War I. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
