Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - March 20, 2007
CHESAPEAKE - Joseph Charles Branch , 42, a native of Chesapeake, peacefully 
joined his Savior March 14, 2007. 

He was educated in the Chesapeake school system and served in the U.S. Army. He 
was currently residing and working in Atlanta, Ga., as an operations manager for 
1888 Mills LLC. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Branch and grandmother, Delphia 
"Grams" Young. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Joseph "Pooh" Rainer 
(Jessica) of Virginia Beach; one daughter, Starr Branch of Chesapeake; a 
grandson, Jordan Lamont Rainer; his father, Airfield Branch of New York; two 
aunts, Ollie Hill of Norfolk and Francis Roland (Arthur) of Portsmouth; one 
uncle, Charles Young (Pearl) of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and 
friends. 

A funeral will be held Friday at Saint James AME Church, 501 Dinwiddie St., 
Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. The body will 
be placed in church Friday at 9 a.m. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling
