Norfolk - Mrs. Amy Elnora Branch of 112 W. 34th street died in a hospital.

A native of Currituck County, NC, she was a daughter of Alfred and Mrs. Zenora 
Owens and the widow of Willie Joe Branch.

She was a deaconess and clerk of Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the No. 2 
Choir and Missionary society, assistant superintendent of its Sunday School, and 
a member of St. Mark Benevolent Lodge.

She is survived by a son, Willie C. Branch, and a daughter, Mrs. Hyretha Gary, 
both of Norfolk;  seven grandchildren;  and eight great-grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
