Virginian-Pilot  June 8, 1946
Michael Peter Brawley, 58, son of the late Hugh and Mrs. Mary Barber Brawley, a 
native of Scotland, and a resident of this section for the past five years, died 
Friday at 11:50 a.m. at the residence, near London Bridge, Princess Anne County.
Surviving him are five brothers, Edward Brawley, of Swissdale, Pa.; Henry J. 
Brawley, of London Bridge; Hugh, John, and James Brawley, of Scotland, and one 
sister, Mrs. Thomas Allen, of Detroit, Mich. The body will be taken from the 
residence of his brother, Henry J. Brawley, London Bridge, to the Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, for services Monday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. P. 
P. Brennan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
