Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Wednesday September 7, 1932
Mrs. Maria Louise Bray, 68, widow of E.W. Bray, Sr., who was formerly local 
inspector of boilers in the Steamboat Inspection Service, died at her 
residence, 244 West Thirtieth street, yesterday morning at 7:45 o'clock.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Ethel Louise Bray; a son, E.W. Bray, Jr.; 
two sisters, Mrs. Mary V. Belote and Mrs. W.H. McGehee; a brother, Paul L. 
Bryant, Sr., and three grandchildren, all of Norfolk.  Mrs. Bray was a native 
and lifelong resident of Norfolk, a member of Park Place Baptist Church, and 
was the daughter of the late James and Secluseval Bryant.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
morning at 11 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
