Chesapeake - Mrs. Henrietta Braye, 83, of 5019 Bainbridge boulevard died 
recently in a nursing home.

A native of Virginia Beach, she was the widow of Myles C. Braye and a daughter 
of Charles and Mrs. Mary Riley. She was a member of the Missionary Circle of 
Bank Street Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Surviving are a son, Wallace Braye of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Audrey 
Terrell of Chesapeake and Mrs. Clarice Baker of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. 
Isabelle Williams of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Gertrude Embree of Los Angeles; 17 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in Bank Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J. B. 
Henderson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
