Brehon, 67, died May 14 at his home, 577 ½ Church street, after a short illness. A native of Norfolk, he was a butcher at Reynolds Meat Market for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. John’s AME Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Holloway and Mrs. Cornelia Paige of Norfolk, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 18, at Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. S. A. Wilson, pastor of New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
