Born in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jessie Perkins and was the widow of Martin F. Bremus, Sr. She is survived by her 2 sons, Martin F. Bremus, Jr., and wife, Barbara, and Christopher W. Bremus, and wife, Micki; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Arthur L. Perkins, Jr., and his wife, Lee; and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday, Nov. 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a reception at Sacred Heart upon completion of the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, VCU Massey Cancer Center in Richmond, VA, or The Wounded Warrior Project. H. D.
