Virginian Pilot June 5, 1902

The obsequies of Mrs. Mary Brennan, who passed away at the Norfolk Protestant 
Hospital on Monday night, were held from the funeral apartments of H.D. Oliver, 
Freemason Street, at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, Rev. J.B Merritt, chaplain of 
the Seaman's Bethel, officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
