Sgt. J. Bernard Brewer

Funeral services for Sgt. J. Bernard Brewer, 53, 819 Lexington street, who died
in a Hampton hospital on April 13, were held at St. John’s AME Church on April
15.  The Rev. H. N. Shields officiated.  Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Georgia
Brewer; and an aunt, Miss Louise Ferguson.  Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
