She was a daughter of Moses and Mrs. Martha Butts and widow of A.T. Brickhouse. She was born in Norfolk and was a member of Bethany Chapter 131, Order of eastern Star; the United Order of Tents 329, charter member of Beulah Temple 4, Daughter Elks, and member of First Trinity A.M.E. Church, where she served on the Usher board and Stewardess board 1. Surviving are one son, Garland Wilson of New York City; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Diggs of South Norfolk, and one brother, Marcellus Cuffee of Deep Creek. The body was taken to Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk. a funeral service will be held in First Trinity A.M.E. Church Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. W.W. Williams, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
