Miss Minnie Hallett Brickhouse, daughter of Mrs. Cornelia Peterson and the late 
Smith Nottingham Brickhouse, died last night at her home, No. 11 West Redgate 
Avenue, after a short illness. She is survived by her mother, and three 
sisters, Misses Lucy, Cornelia and Carrie Brickhouse, all of Norfolk, 
Portsmouth and vicinity to whom her demise is a source of exceeding regret. She 
was a member of the Ghent Methodist Church. The funeral occurs Monday, at 10 
a.m. at the above residence, Rev. Dr. B.F. Lipscomb officiating. Interment in 
Elmwood.
