Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary H. Bridgeford of 932 Cecelia street
were held at First Calvary Baptist Church Sunday with the Rev. C. E. Griffin
officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Portsmouth, Mrs. Bridgeford was the daughter of the late Mr. William
M. Wright and Mrs. Sarah C. Wright and the wife of James H. Bridgeford. She was
a member of First Calvary Baptist Church. She died Aug. 2 in a local hospital
after a long illness.

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, James H. Bridgeford Jr. of Norfolk;
six brothers, Wright, William M. Wright Jr., Eugene C. Wright, Joseph R. Wright,
Cephas Wright, and John H. Wright; and three sisters, Mesdames Lucy W. Turner,
Martha W. Morgan, and Amelia W. Hart, all of Portsmouth.
