Norfolk Journal and Guide, Mar 19,1955
Alexander Bridgers, of 2449 Middle street, died at his residence recently.

Last rites were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. J. R. Williams,
officiating.  King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Bridgers is survived by wife, Mrs. Corrine Bridgers and stepson, Edward
Williams.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
