Marque Bridges, 72, of 307 Market street, died May 1 in a Norfolk hospital.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. May 4 at Hale’s Funeral Chapel with
the Rev. D. Lawrence Williams officiating.

Mr. Bridges was the son of the late Jerry and Mrs. Rosa Harrell Bridges.

He was a native of Hertford County, NC, and an employee for many years at L.
Snyder department store in Norfolk.

He is survived by a nephew, Charles Gray. Burial was in the family plot at
Calvary Cemetery.
