NORFOLK - Kenneth Hargrave Bright, 47, died unexpectedly in a Baltimore hospital 
Friday at 1:30 p.m. He was the son of Mrs. Mattie Dawley Bright and the late 
John L. Bright.
He was a native of Norfolk and had made his home in Baltimore for the past 15 
years. He was the chief engineer at the Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Bright; two 
sisters, Mrs. Thelma Harp of Sulpher, La., and Mrs. Lottie Howell of Norfolk and 
one niece.
The body will be brought to the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home, where funeral 
services will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 
The family will be at 1527 Arkansas Avenue, Norfolk.
