He was 74 years old. Briglia was a native of Italy, but had lived in Norfolk during the past 40 years and was a member of the local Italian Society. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maria Rosa Russo of Norfolk. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ************************************************************************** The funeral of Joseph Briglia was held from St. Mary’s Catholic church yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock, services being conducted by Rev. P. Brennan and Rev. John Doherty. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery. There was a large attendance and many members of the Italian Society were present. The pall-bearers were V. Decosi, Louis DeStefano, B. Lapentina, F. Papa, Antonio Panella, G. Vito, Francesco Panella, Guiseppe Panella.
