Norfolk - Mrs. Brimage of 306 E. 25th St., the wife of Robert Lee Brimage and a
native of Ahoskie, NC, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, in a hospital.

She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and its Usher Board 2, United
Order of Tents 5, the Women’s Club, and president of True Workers Social and
Savings Club.

Also surviving are eight sisters, Mrs. Nellie Fennell and Mrs. Mabel Joyner of
Norfolk, Mrs. Virginia Williams and Mrs. Annie Burnette of Philadelphia, Mrs.
Irene Powell of Washington, and Mrs. Elizabeth March, Mrs. Edna Joyner, and Mrs.
Sallie Weaver of Ahoskie; and two brothers, William D. Holloman of Norfolk and
Robert L. Holloman of Ahoskie.

A funeral service was held Sunday, Jan. 26, in First Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. J. White. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in
charge.
