Brimmer, 77, a native and life long resident of Norfolk, died this morning. He is survived by one son, William C. Brimmer, Jr., one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Williams and a number of grandchildren. The body was removed to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, No. 610-12 E. Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. ************************************************************************ William C. Brimmer - Funeral services for Mr. Brimmer, whose death occurred Friday, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of roses, asters and fern. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Capt. William T. Traylor, Capt. William B. Montague, Capt. C.E. Pettis, J.W. Meyers, J.C. Cox, Joseph Caprio, William L. Carter and George B. Hibbs.
