Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday November 26, 1950
Mrs. Mary Alice Brimmer, 88, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beulah 
Williams, 2017 North Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis., Thursday afternoon after 
a short illness.
She was born in Norfolk, the daughter of the late William D. and Sarah Frances 
Blanks, and was the widow of William C. Brimmer, of Norfolk. 
She had been a lifelong resident of Norfolk until 15 years ago, and a member of 
the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by one son, William C. Brimmer, of 
Milwaukee; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and one niece, Mrs. 
G.W. Etheridge, of Norfolk.
The body is being sent to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel.  Committal services 
will be held today at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
