Anna M. Brink, 89, of the 800 block of Norview Ave., passed away Aug. 14, 2000, at 
DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk.

Born in Alton, Ill., she was the daughter of the late John and Magdalena Bechtold 
Stanka and was the widow of Sylvester H. Brink. She was a faithful member of 
Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.

A loving mother, grandmother and wonderful homemaker, she will be sadly missed by 
her two sons, Allan S. Brink and wife, Mary Lou, of Jonesboro, Ga., Kenneth W. 
Brink and wife, Patty, of Norfolk; a daughter, Loretta A. Parrish and husband, 
Robert, of Elyria, Ohio; a brother, Frank Stanka and wife, Mildred; a sister, Mary 
Ridenour and husband, Orville, all of Alton; six grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. in Christ the King 
Catholic Church by Fr. Brian Rafferty. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
