Charles Brinkley - The funeral of Mr. Brinkley, 62, of 605 E. Charlotte street, 
who died suddenly at his home on July 31, was held at Hale’s Parlor with the Rev. 
E. W. Williams officiating. He was a citizen of Norfolk, retired Navy Yard 
employee and a widower leaving two stepdaughters and a number of relatives.
