NORFOLK — John Wayland Brinson, 84, of the 1300 block of Cornwall Place, a retired 
accountant, died Aug. 31, 1987, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mr. Brinson, a native of Portsmouth, was a member of Larchmont United Methodist 
Church. He retired from Texaco Oil after 44 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Coleman Brinson.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. John Teter. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
