The Virginian Pilot Thursday May 10, 1973
Mrs. Leanora (Nonie) Spry Brite, 81, of 2915 Pretty Lake Ave., the widow of 
William Etheridge Brite, died Tuesday in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Rufus K. and Mrs. Annie 
Shipley Spry.  She was a member of East Ocean View Presbyterian Church.
She was the sister-in-law of Mrs. Rufus King Spry Jr., of Norfolk.  
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, to 
Magnolia Cemetery for a funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. J. Gordon 
Riggan of East Ocean View Presbyterian Church.


NOTE: Date of death on tombstone evidently in error. Correct date of death per 
obituary was May 8, 1973.
