The Virginian Pilot April 22, 1965 
William Etheridge Brite, 90, of 2915 Pretty Lake Ave., retired justice of the 
peace, died in a hospital Wednesday at 1 p.m. He was the husband of Mrs. 
Leonore Spry Brite.
A native of South Mills, M.C., he lived here 75 years. He was a member of 
Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, Berkley Masonic Lodge 167, Norfolk Consistory, 
Scottish Rite Bodies, Khedive Temple of the Shrine, and Elks Lodge 38.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Joe Brite of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Friday at 2 
p.m. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
