PORTSMOUTH - Maenette Graff Britton, 77, died Feb. 8, 1989, in a Virginia Beach nu
nursing home.
Mrs. Britton, a native of Montgomery, AL, was the widow of Joseph Edward B
Britton, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna B. Smith of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Amy 
B. Olszewski of Chula Vista, CA; two sons, J. E. Britton, III, of Virginia 
Beach and Sherrill P. Britton of Carthage, MO; a sister, Lila G. Burgess of 
Greensboro; two brothers, Charles Graff of Foley, AL, and George Graff, Jr., of
Miami, FL; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements. Friends may 
join the family at the residence.
