She was forced by ill health to resign her position at the orphanage and seek a different climate. She had been a resident of Lynchburg since 1924. Her parents were Wilson Shepherd and Mrs. Sarah Balsam Brock. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Sarah Jordan, of Hampton. The body will be brought to Norfolk for funeral services tomorrow at 5 p.m. at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery.
