Norfolk Landmark December 25, 1898

Mr. William H. Brock, one of Berkley's oldest and most highly respected citizens, 
died quite suddenly yesterday morning at 7:45 o'clock of apoplexy at his residence 
on Pine Street. The deceased was born in Princess Anne County in 1826, but had 
resided in Berkley the best portion of his life. The funeral services will take 
place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from Chestnut Street M.E. Church.
