The Virginian Pilot May 27, 1962
Emmett Elwood Brock, 76, husband of Mrs. Elsie Miller Brock and son of Solon A. 
and Mrs. Mary James Brock, died in his home, 1034 W. 36th St., Saturday at 6:30 
p.m.
Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers, John A. Brock and Russell E. 
Brock of Back Bay.
A native of Back Bay, he lived in Norfolk 52 years.  Until his retirement he 
was employed by Norfolk & Western Railway.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 4 
p.m. by the Rev. Harold H. fink of Park Place Methodist Church, of which he was 
a member.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
