SUFFOLK, April 13 – Funeral services for Samuel Richardson Brockenbrough will be 
conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the residence on Pinner street by 
the Rev. Herbert N. Tucker, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, assisted by 
Bishop-elect W. A. Brown of Portsmouth. The body will be taken to Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk, for burial. Active pallbearers will be B. A. Kelly, R. L. 
Woodward, Jr., J. T. Withers, John F. Pinner, Marmaduke Woodward, James R. Lane, 
Alfred T. Riddick of Portsmouth, and Joseph G. Fiveash of Norfolk.
