Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 12,1946
Edward James Brooks - Funeral services for Mr. Brooks, 842 Monticello avenue, 
who died Sept. 30, were held Oct. 3 from King’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. 
R. H. Bowling officiating.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with the King’s 
Funeral Home in charge.
