He had lived in this area for five months. He was a retired meatcutter for Baltimore Slaughter House and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic. Survivors include five sisters, Anna Ingram, Rosalie Forbes and Elizabeth Yensen, all of Chesapeake, Eleanor May of Peshtigo, Wis., and Peggy Tobin of Wausaukee, Wis.; and three brothers, Charles Brooks of Charlotte, N.C., Raymond Brooks of Chesapeake and Walter Brooks of Baltimore. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Garrett Lee. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at his home.
