Virginian Pilot December 9, 1902

Mrs. Maggie Brooks, wife of Mr. J.P. Brooks, on Eleventh street, died yesterday 
evening at 7:40 o'clock after an illness since last June.  The deceased was 43 
years of age and was born in Brookeville, Pa.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 1 o'clock and 
the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Rev. E.W. Cowling, pastor of St. 
Thomas Episcopal Church, will officiate.
